A fun fact?

I have wildly eclectic interests. I adore words—poetry, writing, literature—fine cuisine, and opera, but I’m also really into wilderness survival and tracking, open-water swimming, karaoke, throwing myself into a mosh pit, drawing, instant coffee, and a whole bunch of other things! The female condition, sisterhood, and the philosophy of cycles play a huge role in my life, and I’m overflowing with gratitude to have a place at the helm of Mme L’Ovary!

Why do you love working at Mme L’Ovary?

Being part of the L’Ovary team means being surrounded by smart, inspiring, and sensitive women. It gives a voice to the frustrated feminist within me. It means contributing to an important cause: breaking the stigma around menstruation. It’s about helping the menstruating people around me slowly reclaim their power. It’s fulfilling and empowering!

Your favorite style?

As an active person, my fave is hands down the Boxy Comfortable and discreet (even under leggings), it’s the one that supports me from start to finish of my period—whether I’m working in the garden, riding at the skatepark, anywhere, anytime… I even wear it when I’m not menstruating, that’s how much I love it!

Why do you like working for Mme L'Ovary?

I find it funny that we have to whisper to each other when asking for a tampon (which isn't so much of a problem when it comes to menstrual undies 😉). Um, hello? We'll be menstruating for 40 years of our lives. Can we bleed in peace and without shame? We've learned to hide our blood, to swallow our menstrual pain. For me, working for Mme L'Ovary is more than just selling underwear. It's all about co-creating a safe space to talk about menstruation without whispering so we can take back control of our cycles.

Your favourite style of Mme L'Ovary undies and any accessories you use

The Highty, with no hesitation! Its retro style makes me feel gorgeous and confident (yes, that's possible even when you're on your period). Anyone who's worn them knows they're basically a snug hug around your stomach and lower back. I'm also a fan of the Goddess herbal tea. I drink 1 litre of it a day when I'm on my period, and the herbs soothe my cramps. Long live nature!
