Summary of the position:

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer Assistant to support Mme L’Ovary’s growth.

In collaboration with the Head of Operations, the Assistant Head of Operations will take over day-to-day operations while establishing a solid management foundation for the healthy expansion of our startup.

This person will be a pillar at the heart of operations, which will complement the core of our team.

General responsibilities (in collaboration with the Head of Operations)

Acquisition and Business Development:

  • Coordinating and ensuring the success of international business development projects in collaboration with our partners.
  • Consolidate the B2B distribution strategy for existing partners.
  • Analyze and propose a B2B acquisition strategy to expand our presence with new resellers.
  • Be the main point of contact and work closely with the Web marketing agency to achieve customer acquisition/sales goals.

Administration:

  • Track budget and sales reports.
  • Setting up and updating a dashboard and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate applications for funding/awards/grants with our provider.
  • Act as a liaison with our accountant to ensure closing month-end.

Team management:

  • Coordinating new staff for successful integration.
  • Put in place management and operations processes to consolidate the existing one.
  • Propose, implement, and train the team in the best collaborative working practices through powerful tools.

Support for the outreach project:

  • Understand the project issues and effectively brief the various stakeholders: graphic designers, press relations providers, agency, etc.
  • Accompany the co-founders in their strategic considerations on outreach operations.

Communications Officer

Mandate:

Our team wants to expand with a dynamic and creative person whose mandate will be to ensure the influence of Mme L’Ovary. The communications officer is responsible for managing all communications activities, including the development and implementation of communication strategies, the coordination of various providers (graphic designers, editors, press relations, etc.), the deployment of communication campaigns, and the management of online presence. An exciting challenge in a developing organization where you will have to use your sense of creativity and strategic spirit to contribute to Mme L’Ovary’s influence.

General responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the organization’s communication strategy, plans, and activities.
  • Develop, deploy, and measure marketing campaigns around various activities and events.
  • Coordinate and manage brand image deployment.
  • Contribute to the design and production of the organization’s communication tools and promotional items.
  • Coordinate and produce written and digital content (articles, photos, videos, etc.).
  • Manage and update the website.
  • Ensure strategic monitoring of the organization.
  • Support team members in all mobilization activities and event implementation.

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills in French and English.

Position Summary: Accounting Technician/Bookkeeper

We are now looking for a reliable person to do bookkeeping for Mme L’Ovary.

  • Bookkeeping on Quickbooks
  • Tracking and classifying invoices and accounting documents
  • Paying bills
  • GST/QST refund.
  • Do T4/T4A.
  • Summary (preparation of papers for tax specialist/accountant).

Asset: Financial forecasts.

Asset: Monthly and quarterly financial report and assessment of the company’s finances.
